Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an autonomous body run under the Ministry of Education, the Govt. of India. PM Shri K. V. No.4, since its inception in 1986 has been making rapid strides towards progress in all fields and today stands out as a school with a difference, up-holding the highest tradition of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Vidyalaya is focusing on the five guiding pillars of Access, Equity, Quality, Affordability and Accountability alongwith flexibility. Vidyalaya has implemented to strive sustainable, equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high quality education to all.
This vidyalaya started in July 1986 with single section. It was established in temporary accommodation in Army area near Old Army School. First chairman of this Vidyalaya was Brig. D. A. Siddhu and first principal was Mrs. Janki Sati in 1986. Later it was shifted in its new building situated on Shaheed Sagat Singh Marg, Khatipura Road, Jaipur, in the observation of Brig. R. S. Choudhary and principal H. C. Agrawal. Additional block of new rooms in primary section inaugurated by Shri O. S. Dave, A.C. KVS RO Jaipur on Tuesday, 13th April, 2004. Principal was Shri Y. Venugopalan. Vidyalaya front garden was inaugurated by Shri Raj Veer Singh, DC, KVS, HQ New Delhi, presided by Shri Dev Kishan Saini, AC, KVS RO Jaipur on 03rd September, 2006. Principal was Manjeet Singh Sandhu.
